When she’s looking to get the handle of Lavender’s sword repaired by Caraway, she discovers he’s an old friend of her mother’s and he tells her an old adventure they went on. Meanwhile, Amaryllis messes up Sage’s potion to mess with her and results in the campus cat mutating and trying to fulfill a mission he has.

- Secret Test of Character: Parsley’s adventure beneath the school turns out to be a test from Phlox. He sent her on the task to repair the portrait to get her to learn that she can use anything, especially a tiny hammer, to accomplish anything.
