Go To

Harley joins Ivy for an evil party in Vegas while mulling over an important decision in her hero career.

Tropes:

  • Babies Make Everything Better: Tabitha has been cold to King Shark her entire pregnancy, but when he goes above and beyond to make her a gumbo with rare ingredients, she warms up to him and lets him co-parent their children. Her going into labor calls a truce on Clayface and Ivy's fighting, though he still makes a point to taunt her. Harley and Ivy, whose relationship is growing strained by their diverging moral standards, reconnect over privately mocking the appearance of King Shark's children.
  • Brick Joke: Bruce's DJ lessons from the first episode of the season pay off here when he does a live streaming show from Blackgate.
  • The Dog Bites Back: Clayface has been Harley and Ivy's verbal punching bag so far, and he revels in the chance to make them squirm over not having tickets to his sold out shows. He physically threatens them both, and even though Harley apologizes, he points out that she's only saying that now after he's finally successful.
  • Eat the Bomb: Harley and Ivy leave Snowflame tied to his bed with a grenade in his mouth. Unknown to him, it's just chocolate in the shape of a grenade.
  • Fair-Weather Friend: What Clayface accuses Harley and Ivy of being to him.
  • Forced Prize Fight: One of the evil events is forcing two heroes to battle over a pit. The loser falls over and is eaten by Starro.
  • Grew a Spine: Finally making his breakthrough unto stardom, Clayface has grown confident enough to stand up to Ivy for her mistreatment of him and makes a point to get her to acknowledge him after she deliberately ignores him. When she doesn't back down from mocking him, they fight and he's competently makes full use of his powers.
  • Making Love in All the Wrong Places: As Harley and Ivy get into an elevator while dressed as bellhops, Harley gets turned on by ivy in her outfit, leading them to hit the emergency brake and get busy.
  • Paper-Thin Disguise: Harley puts on a pink wig and glasses for her Secret Identity as "Hargret". Ivy naturally isn't fooled, though Clayface is.
  • Passive-Aggressive Kombat: Ivy ignored Clayface's many missives to attend his shows in Vegas, and is only interested when she learns he's actually successful enough for them to be sold out. While she schemes ways to get tickets, Clayface tries to get her to admit she ignored him and ask him directly for seats. When both of their actions are put on the table, the arguing grows into full on aggressive combat, causing destruction that forces Harley to intervene. After the dust settles, Clayface makes a point to give everyone still present tickets to his show except Harley and Ivy, and rubs it in their faces.
  • Russian Roulette: While reveling in evil as Hargret, Harley clicks off three rounds in a row in a game of Russian Roulette. The next competitor isn't so lucky as she cartwheels out of the room.
  • This Is for Emphasis, Bitch!: Clayface is so pissed off with Ivy and Harley he freely calls them both bitches.
