Pop washes Cub in the kitchen sink and forgets about the garbage disposal.
"And the Kitchen Sink" contain examples of:
- Big "NO!": Pop does one when he thinks that Cub has died after the two go over a waterfall.
- Break the Cutie: Cub goes through absolute hell in this episode.
- Cruel and Unusual Death: Lifty and Shifty get split in half by a rope.
- Diagonal Cut: This happens to Lifty and Shifty by a rope. After it passes through them, they take a moment to celebrate being unscathed. Then they get horizontally cut in half.
- Disney Death: After Pop and Cub go over a waterfall, it looks like Cub has been decapitated, to Pop's horror and grief. Then Cub coughs after Pop picks him up, revealing him to be alive and just partially buried in the sand. Subverted when Cub ends up drowning in the bathtub less than a minute afterwards.
- Downer Ending: Cub drowns in the tub at the end of episode.
- Half the Man He Used to Be:
- Cub gets the lower half of his body grinded by the garbage disposal. Unlike most examples in this show, he survives, leading to Pop's quest to get him out of the garbage disposal.
- For a more lethal example, Lifty and Shifty get sliced in half by a rope.
- Idiot Houdini / Karma Houdini: Pop is responsible for every death in this episode and he survives.
- Inevitable Waterfall: Pop finally manages to get Cub out of the kitchen sink and they reunite in a river, both none the worse for wear (aside from Cub's missing lower half). Then Pop realises that they're drifting towards a waterfall.
- Made of Plasticine: A rope slices Lifty and Shifty in half.
- They Killed Kenny Again: Flaky, Giggles, Toothy, Cuddles, Lifty, Shifty, and Cub all die in this episode.
- Took a Level in Dumbass: Pop is notably more dumb in this episode than in any other episode he stars in.
- Trauma Conga Line: For Cub.
- Vomit Discretion Shot: After Pop climbs on land after surviving going over a waterfall, he leans down to vomit up water off-screen.
