SIEGFRIED
One day, Team Chickadee receives a guest in the form of Siegfried. After listening to Siegfried's stories back when he was the captain of the Black Dragons, Arthur and Mordred are way too enthusiastic and asks him for more personal training.
During the middle of training, word has spread that disaster in the region of Burgundy, notable for the many boundaries it shares that promotes trading. Unknown to anyone, this incident happens to be closely linked to Siegfried himself.
Tropes
- Badass in Distress: Siegfried spends the latter half of the event in custody, then brainwashed by Gunther.
- Five-Second Foreshadowing: Gunther attempts to force Siegfried into a dragon, stating that he'll never go back to being human once turned. The two are later given a dose of alma; Siegfried returns to normal and Gunther is permanently stuck in dragon form.
- Hit Me, Dammit!: After hearing about the tragedy of Gunther's family, Siegfried tells Gunther to kill him if it would appease them. Gunther instead uses him for his own purposes.
- Mercy Kill: With Gunther permanently stuck in dragon form, Siegfried fulfills his last request to kill him off.
- Super-Senses: After having the dragon blood inside of him being activated, Siegfried notes that it made all of his senses become sharper, making it easier for the crew to find Gunther's hideout.
- Sequel Hook: When asked about his knowledge of turning into a dragon, Gunther points to Merlin, who wants to send Feendrache into chaos.
