"You're Too Slow" is the second episode of Gory Toons.
Sonic the Hegdehog exercises himself by taking a jog outside. This activity only provokes a deadly fate for the hedgehog, as he encounters Cuddles the rabbit and Toothy the beaver fiddling with a match in his path. As Sonic speeds past the two, the match's flame explodes. Next up, Pop watches his son Cub play with an axe while pretending to be a firefighter, only for Sonic to trample the baby bear. Distraught at his son's death, Pop grows furious and decides revenge against the blue blur. As he's interviewed by the mayor of South Park, he calls out Sonic and encourages the townsfolk against him. Back at Sonic, the next casualty of his agonizing jog is none other than Kirby, who is riding a motorcycle. Sonic hits Kirby, sending him into the air. Amidst this, a tired Chef Pee Pee prepares his nap on the couch and pushes the toys off it. Before he could rest his eyes, however, Kirby and his motorcycle lands inside the house and into Chef Pee Pee's skull. A panicked Kirby impulsively sters his motorcycle, driving it deeper into Chef Pee Pee's skull until it blasts off, ripping off Chef Pee Pee's skull in the process. The motorcycle drives off the wall and hits a pendant lamp, resulting in Kirby getting electrocuted until he expldoes. Back at Pop, he leads an angry mob against Sonic and hired Sheila and Handy to construct a brick wall in Sonic's path. As the blue hedgehog aimlessly runs into the wall, it explodes and one of the bricks is sent flying into Pop's face, taking out a part of his head.
"You're Too Slow" contains examples of:
- Asshole Victim:
- Sonic, for causing a massive ruckus across the town and killing Cub right in front of Pop's eyes.
- Pop as well somewhat. He plans to outright murder Sonic, though his anger was justified.
- Cruel and Unusual Death:
- Cuddles and Toothy are burned to death by a match.
- Cub is ran over by Sonic, splattering him into a bloody stain.
- Chef Pee Pee's skull is torn to shreds by Kirby's motorcycle.
- Kirby is electrocuted to death and violently explodes into a gruesome mess.
- Sonic is set on fire, impaled in the head by an axe, and explodes after sprinting into a brick wall.
- Debut Queue: This episode introduces Sonic, as well as most of the series' major and core side characters.
- Delayed Reaction: Since Sonic is very fast, it took Pop a while for him to realize that he ran right past him and crushed Cub.

- Sonic causing the deaths of others because of his speed and careless actions.
- Pop's Knight Templar Parent tendencies when Cub is involved.
- Chef Pee Pee and Kirby's bad luck.

- Evil vs. Evil: Sonic is responsible for incautiously slaughtering Cub, in which an inflamed Pop tries to avenge his Cub by plotting a murder attempt on the already trauma-enduring Sonic.
- High-Voltage Death: Kirby is electrocuted by a pendant light, though the result was much bloodier than expected.
- Karmic Death: Both Pop and Sonic.
- Shoot the Shaggy Dog: Poor, poor Sonic. He was just running in the breeze but he attained many injuries at his expense. He tries to run the injuries off and look for a place to heal his severe wounds but the townsfolk could not stop tormenting the poor hedgehog so they built a wall in an attempt to kill him, which it did.
- Slasher Smile: Pop and Sheila Broflovski glance at each other with this expression on their faces while anticipating for Sonic's death.
- Sanity Slippage: Pop big time. As of Cub's death, he constantly laspe through many emotions, going from his usual panicky self, to a genuinely angered state, to becoming downright sadistic.
- They Killed Kenny Again: Cuddles, Toothy, Kirby, Cub, Chef Pee Pee, Sonic, and Pop die.
- Throw the Dog a Bone: Mayor McDaniels, Walky, Liane, Gerald, Stephen, Randy, Stan, Homer, Waddle Dee, Handy, Sheila, Ms. Testaburger, Mr. Testaburger, and Wendy survive.
- Too Dumb to Live: Blantalty, the episode start off with Cuddles and Toothy playing with a match.
- Heck, for that matter, Sonic basically hoarded this status throughout the entire episode. He aimlessly runs toward Cuddles and Toothy while they were playing with the aforementioned match, causing all three characters to get caught in an explosion that bursts into massive flames. Afterward, when Handy, Sheila, and Pop built a wall to finally put Sonic to a halt, the latter senselessly runs into said wall, killing him.
