Galtar and the Princess

Galtar, a barbarian warrior whose village was destroyed and whose parents were slain by the tyrannical conqueror Tormack and his army of gurza warriors, stumbles across some of Tormack's gurzas burning down a homestead. Checking the rubble for survivors, he encounters a young woman named Goleeta, who claims to be the rightful heir to a recently conquered kingdom. United by their common foe, the two agree to work together; at Goleeta's direction, Galtar seeks out a mystic hermit and claims the Golden Lance, a magical weapon that will give him the strength to defeat Tormack, and a counterpart to the Sacred Shield of her homeland.

Skull Forest

After Galtar becomes confident that he has mastered the Golden Lance, he and Goleeta set out to confront Tormack, unaware that the tyrant has learned he can use the Sacred Shield to view Goleeta wherever she is. After a treacherous journey, they reach Skull Forest, where they discover gurzas making a raid for the local nurms, whom Tormack values as slave-miners. They manage to save one nurm before he is captured, but he flees in terror. They then meet and unwisely accept the hospitality of the scheming dwarf mercenary Rak, who plans to sell them to Tormack, but are saved by the nurm they rescued earlier, Prince Pandat. He takes them to his village, but Tormack and his gurzas reach the village with Rak's aid, forcing Galtar and Goleeta to fight and eventually flee.

Mursa the Merciless

On their journey to defeat Tormack, Galtar and Goleeta stumble across the dwelling of an old woman named Mursa. However, what they initially take to be a harmless old hermit is actually a scheming sorceress who steals the beauty of young women for her own decrepit form. She tricks Galtar into leaving Goleeta in her care, allowing her to steal Goleeta's beauty, but Galtar encounters a mysterious white knight, who leads him to save Goleeta from Mursa's clutches. Meanwhile, Rak the dwarf reunites with his equally scheming son, Tuk, and the two attempt to kidnap Goleeta for Tormack's bounty.

Goleeta's Reunion

As part of a scheme to capture Galtar and Goleeta, Tormack lets slip that Goleeta's younger brother Zorn survived his invasion and now toils in his mines. Although his trap is successfully sprung, he underestimates how resourceful the trio are, and they successfully escape.

Shadowhaunt

Fleeing Tormack's clutches, Galtar, Goleeta and Zorn are trapped inside an abandoned castle, haunted by a fearsome invisible monster known as the Shadowhaunt. After a ferocious battle, they manage to defeat the monster and distract Tormack and his gurzas so they can escape.

Tormack's Trap

Encountering Tormack's lackey and some gurzas tormenting a young woman in the forest, Galtar rescues the girl. She tells him that she is Rava, a chieftain's daughter, and that she was Tormack's prisoner before escaping through a hidden passage in his castle. This inspires Galtar, Goleeta and Zorn to have her lead them to the same passage, hoping to use it to confront and defeat Tormack. However, Rava is really Tormack's neice, and she lures them into her uncle's trap. However, when he goes back on his promise to her, she betrays her uncle and frees the trio.

The Master Fighters

Tormack's sorcerer Krimm reveals his newest creation; three magical monsters he promises have the power to defeat Galtar. Confident in Krimm's work, Tormack lures Galtar into a trap and pits him against the creatures, only for Galtar to triumph. It initially seems that Krimm's word will prove true when their remains fuse into a new, bigger monster, but then it turns on its masters, giving Galtar, Goleeta and Zorn the chance to escape.

Vikor's Raiders

Galtar, Goleeta and Zorn are attacked by raiders under the command of the aspiring warlord Vikor, and the Golden Lance is stolen in the confusion. Determined to take it back, they attempt to sneak into Vikor's camp disguised as entertainers, only to be betrayed by Rak and Tuk, who steal the Golden Lance for themselves. In their squabbling, they accidentally unleash its powers, scattering Vikor's raiders and giving Galtar and his friends the chance to escape, once they've taken the Lance back.

Wicked Alliance

Fearful of losing Tormack's favor, the sorcerer Krimm forms an alliance with the banished witch Mursa to destroy Galtar and take his Golden Lance. Meanwhile, sensing opportunity, Rak steals the book of spells from a retired sorcerer in hopes of taking Krimm's place as Tormack's personal mage. However, his bungling only ends up ruining Krimm and Mursa's plans, giving Galtar and his friends the chance to escape.

Zorn Meets Marin

A playful spar over a river goes horribly wrong when the current suddenly surges to life just as Zorn is knocked into the water. He is swept far downstream to a mysterious valley, where he meets and befriends a wild girl named Marin. The two share several adventures in the valley, whilst Galtar and Goleeta track Zorn down. The trio offers Marin the chance to come with them as part of their family, but they are separated from her when a terrible earthquake hits the pass leading out of the valley, forcing them to move on without her.

Manta Marauders

Galtar and his friends launch an attack on one of Tormack's treasure tribute caravans, only to be interrupted by strange manta-shaped metal ships that seize the treasure for themselves. In the attack, the trio (as well as Rak and Tuk) are transported to a bizarre alien world, under the tyrannical rule of Cordo, who uses a monstrous disguise to terrorize the local people into harvesting treasure. When Rak and Tuk inadvertently reveal the truth of Cordo, it triggers a civil war, giving them all a chance to return to their own world.

Galtar's Challenge

After fighting off another gurza ambush, Galtar grows tired oef this cat and mouse game with Tormack, and challenges the tyrant to single combat; the winner gets the Golden Lance and the Sacred Shield. But Tormack cheats, sending out a transforming mechanical monster made by Krimm to fight in his place. Rak and Tuk sabotage the beast in exchange for a bribe, but Tormack flees with the Sacred Shield, and so the quest to defeat him continues.

The Maze of Magus

Galtar's journey to defeat Tormack is disrupted when he is abducted by Magus, a mad hunter who has taken to hunting sapient beings as the last challenging quarry. He forces Galtar to run through a deadly maze of traps and monsters before finally confronting him in open combat, a fight that Galtar wins.

The Return of Rava

After Galtar intercepts one of his gold shipments, an angry Tormack decides to call upon the services of his scheming niece Rava once again, hoping that she can lead Galtar into a trap. But Rava has her own ambitions, leading to a triple cross where she betrays Tormack and Galtar both to seize Bandisar for herself. Fortunately, Goleeta is able to free Galtar and they escape the city before Tormack turns his vengeful attentions on his deceptive neice.

Falca - Priestess of Prey

Gltar and Goleeta are kidnapped in the middle of the night by the wicked Falca, mad ruler of the fallen kindom of the bird-people. Fortunately, the Golden Lance remains safely with Zorn, who comes to their rescue with the aid of Talon, one of Falca's former victims.

Vikor's Revenge

Galtar's travels bring his little group to the edge of the sea, where they discover some of Vikor's raiders attempting to kidnap a fishman named Argus. They rescue the fishman, but the raiders kidnap Zorn, forcing Galtar and Goleeta to go to his rescue with the aid of Argus.

The Silver Sword

Harnessing the power of a dark magical comet named the Finger of Fire, Krimm forges an enchanted blade of incredible strength for Tormack. With his new Silver Sword, Tormack defeats Galtar, nearly breaking the hero's will to fight, until the mysterious White Knight assures Galtar of his rightful role as champion. With his confidence restored, Galtar faces Tormack once more, and this time he manages to destroy the Silver Sword.

Ither's Apprentice

Escaping from gurzas into Skull Forest, Galtar and his companions take refuge for the night at the home of their friend, the wizard Ither. But Ither is not alone, having taken an apprentice in the form of a boy named Malik. But Ither's new apprentice turns out to be an agent of Krimm, and he betrays Ither and attempts to steal the Golden Lance. Fortunately, Zorn manages to thwart him.

Antara the Terrible

As Galtar, Goleeta and Zorn make camp one evening, they are approached by a sorceress named Antara, who proclaims that she is seeking their help in retrieving a magical gem of great power from a castle that only appears in this world for one night a century, offering to turn this power against Tormack if Galtar will only help her. Galtar's trust turns out to be misplaced when she retrieves the gem and reveals her true identity as Krimm's vengeful sister, eager for revenge on her brother and domination of the world. After a fierce battle, Galtar manages to smash her gemstone, giving him and his companions the chance to escape the castle before it vanishes once more.

Tormack's Treachery

Tormack attempts to set a trap for Galtar, hoping to lure him into the frozen caves of the Ice Demon, but his decision to use Rak and Tuk as unwitting assistants backfires and Tormack is the one who ends up being captured. Ironically, Galtar and his companions end up captured too, and the bitter foes must work together to escape from the cyclops.

Love of Evil

Whilst Tormack and his gurzas have long been enemies of the slug-like Slorgs, Tormack has decided to reach out with an offer of a peace treaty to their warlord, Yogoth, so he may reach the laser-fields that lie on the opposite side of Slorg territory. However, Yogoth wants Rava's hand in marriage as the price for their alliance! The ruthless Tormack has Krimm feed Rava a love potion to secure the wedding, and it's up to Galtar and Goleeta to free Rava and break up the alliance.
