Chapter 47: Cages

Muko tags back into the match, having figured out Nyarai's weakness. As Muko proves her plan, Nyarai remembers the many cages that's been thrusted in her life.
- Achilles' Heel: Nyarai's true reason for the rings on her neck is her fear of being choked. In fact, Choke Holds are her Trauma Button because she used to be strangled a lot in prison.
- Ain't Too Proud to Beg: Nyarai begs Freydar to rescue her when Muko is strangling her. The chapter ends with Freydar glaring ominously at her.
- Break the Haughty: As Muko strangles Nyarai, she breaks down in tears as she relives her trauma.
- Choke Holds: This is Nyarai's true weakness, which Muko exploits by strangling her until she gives up.
- Laser-Guided Karma: After all the pain that she forced on Muko at the Masato Match, Nyarai is defeated by the partner she betrayed. She's strangled into submission, breaking in tears as she remembers the worst tragedies of her life.
- She-Fu: Muko uses her own agility to dodge Nyarai's kicks rather than block them like Kalita and Adelgund before her.
- Trauma Button: Getting strangled by Muko makes Nyarai remember a sadistic guard who used to strangle her in the past until she nearly died.
- Throwing the Fight: Nyarai and Lenny were supposed to lose their fight with the Terrifying Tigress Twins. Instead they won, causing the Water Mafia to separate the pair.
- Used to Be a Sweet Kid: Nyarai's flashbacks showed her as an idealistic child living in the desert and then cheerfully exploring Desdan after moving out.
- Wardens Are Evil: A guard in Azdan strangled Nyarai to near death at least once when she was in prison.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: Nyarai was thrown in Azdan to spend the rest of her life in prison until Shun rescued her. Lenny's fate is left ambiguous.
