Jackie’s recently divorced friend Val moves in the family home and clears out everything in the house, much to Martin’s dismay. Adam switches Johnny’s car keys.
This episode contains examples of:
- Karma Houdini: Val smears the family’s apple crumble all over her car at Larry’s house after he took it. This results in the family having just custard for dessert and Larry smearing curry all over both Jonny and Martin’s cars.
- Hypocritical Humor: Val goes in Martin’s shed and starts clearing it out without Martin’s permission. When Martin storms in and tells her to leave, she asks him to knock before entering.
- Also, Jackie starts fawning over Jonny’s boss, Nick, but she refuses to talk to Martin after dreaming he was in a bath of milk, in a earlier episode.
