Jeepers: You want to see something strange and mystical?
Freakazoid: NOOOO! GET OUT OF HERE WITH THAT WATCH! LAY OFF THE POOR BEAVERS, WILL YA?! SHEESH! YOU'RE A CREEP! GO AWAY! WE WERE HAVING A GOOD TIME UNTIL YOU SHOWED UP, JEEPERS! URGH! GO HAVE SOME COFFEE, WITH CREAM, OR SOMETHING! BECAUSE I'LL TELL YOU SOMETHING; THIS IS A HAPPY PLACE!
  • Shout-Out: "Pull the string!"

Freakazoid: Hi, Jill, I understand you had something removed. Maybe that something was YOUR HEART!
  • Take That!: While calling Steff out for lying, Freakazoid claims that if they were in an Afterschool Special, she would get punished by getting "big, oily zits" or being forced to eat off the same plate as David Lee Roth.
  • Wicked Cultured: During his rampages, Cave Guy mentions he subscribers to The New Yorker and talks to Steff about the shortcomings of a fancy restaurant that some of the students had reservations at.

  • Lampshade Hanging: "This is stupid."
  • Not So Above It All: While the Lobe is adamant that Handman is just Freakazoid's hand, he still throws a punch at "him" during the showdown.
  • Overly Long Gag: The entire short is this, as Freakazoid talks with his hand (to the point of Handman marrying the other hand and Freakazoid talking with his feet). On the commentary, they discuss and joke about the Ending Fatigue.
  • Schmuck Bait: Handman suggests the Lobe lean in and look very close at him. The Lobe does so, only to get punched across the room.
