- Take That!: While calling Steff out for lying, Freakazoid claims that if they were in an Afterschool Special, she would get punished by getting "big, oily zits" or being forced to eat off the same plate as David Lee Roth.
- Wicked Cultured: During his rampages, Cave Guy mentions he subscribers to The New Yorker and talks to Steff about the shortcomings of a fancy restaurant that some of the students had reservations at.
