Frasier and Roz share a room at a broadcasting conference, which is notorious for being a meet market.

- Blanket Tug O' War: When sharing the room (and bed), Kenny hogs the blanket, leaving Frasier with nothing.
- Everyone Loves Blondes: Roz expresses frustration over how men will drool over a woman just because she has blonde hair. She then decides to buy a blonde wig to see if it helps her pick up a man. It certainly turns Frasier's head and contributes to the tension between them.
- Facial Scruff: Frasier has grown a short beard after not shaving during his trip with Freddie. His family all tease him about it, but after a few drinks Roz admits she likes that it makes him look "not Frasier".
- Gift-Giving Gaffe: Donny shows Niles the John Deere
baseball cap he picked up at a tractor pull as a gift for Daphne. Niles can barely hide his disdain for the gift... which is when Donny reveals the cap is just a joke gift to see the look on her face. He also bought her a much nicer bracelet as her actual gift. - Lies to Children: Apparently Hester and Martin told the boys that the thermos he always took on stakeouts was filled with clam chowder when it was actually filled with Irish whiskey. Niles suddenly realises this is why Martin got mad that time he tried to help by crumbling oyster crackers into the "chowder".
- Moment Killer: Kenny showing up and asking to share the room immediately kills the tension between Frasier and Roz.
- There Is Only One Bed: Frasier and Roz realize this as things start heating up between them. When Kenny arrives Roz volunteers to sleep on the couch, leaving Frasier to share with a snoring Kenny.
- The Stakeout: Martin agrees to do one to try and catch the spouse of Donny's client during an affair. Niles reveals that even as a kid he would worry whenever Martin had to go on a stakeout in case something happened to him.
- Unresolved Sexual Tension: Frasier and Roz come very close to sleeping together after sharing champagne to drown their disappointment over not scoring at the convention.
