Fanboy freaks out when the kids ride the new Man-Arctica rollercoaster.

- Continuity Nod: While insulting Kyle, Fanboy says he's getting chicken pox, which he had earlier.
- Crowd Chant: When the boys arrive at the amusement park, the attendees are chanting over and over: "Ice! Scream! Extreme!"
- Eye Pop: Fanboy as he's reading the Ice Scream Extreme advertisement at the Fanlair.
- Freeze-Frame Bonus: When the rollercoaster is dropping through an ice cave, we get a very brief shot of Kyle clinging onto Chuggy.

- Mood Whiplash: Fanboy's initial excitement at riding the Ice Scream Extreme suddenly turns into fear minutes after going up the lift hill.

- Out-of-Character Moment: Kyle is one of the kids attending the ride opening and enjoying it, two things the Kyle we know would most likely show disdain over.
- Potty Dance: Oz does one after holding it in eighteen hours without a bathroom.
- String-on-Finger Reminder: The episode starts with Fanboy lying in bed with a string from the ceiling tied to his finger, wondering why it's there in the first place. Chum Chum then reads a cue card with the note "Cut safe down from ceiling", to which he obliges; said string is revealed to be holding a safe when cut, which sends Fanboy flying into the ceiling where he sees the advertisement for the Ice Scream Extreme which opens that day.
- The Voiceless: Despite Kyle appearing several times thoughout the episode, he never says a word. The only vocalization he makes is a startled yell when Fanboy sneaks up on him, and he is seen cheering and laughing with the crowd in unison a lot.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: Oz is nowhere to be seen after the ride opens.
