Argument of Contradictions: A "did not"/"did too" version between Emmy and Max, when he's annoyed that she is pitching instead of him when he asked her if he could pitch back in the playroom and she said okay (she didn't hear him ask to pitch).
Poor Communication Kills: Max hit Emmy because of a misunderstanding that her "Okay, Max" was a confirmation he could be first up, rather than a signal for them to get going.
Reasonable Authority Figure: Quetzel, as usual. Instead of immediately banning Max from the rest of the game after hitting Emmy like you'd expect, he calmly gets both his and Emmy's sides of the story, before taking Max aside and firmly but calmly warning him that the school in the sky has a zero tolerance policy towards hitting, and he'll be pulled out of the game if he does. And even when he does, Quetzel only pulls him out till he comes to his senses and even suggests he take his anger out on the dragon balls, since no one will get hurt when they're hit.
Tears of Remorse: Both Emmy and Ord when Max hits them in anger.
