DIVE10 Alluring Mist! Golemon

Original Airdate: June 8, 2001

Summary

A mysterious mist covers Diverland. The classmates are angry at Kento for the various dick moves he had apparently done to them earlier. Aoi is the only one siding with him, believing he wouldn't do such a thing; when he apparently guided her grandfather to drive on the "correct" bridge, she knew something was off and rightfully stopped the car before it fell off the cliff.

Kento and Aoi consulted the Admin Center on this and find out that the mist causes illusions of Kento and is unnatural, moving at a steady pace regardless of wind current. Soon after, Gladion alerted Kento of a Web Knight attack, linking it to the mist. However, this is a phenomenon new to him; Gladion does not know any Web Knight with such power.

Upon entering the battlefield, they encountered a duplicate of Gladion, but the two are unfazed by the trick. The illusion then reveal themselves as Orthrion and Kerberion, and using the power of the twins, they combine into a new Web Knight, Golemon. With Orthrion's defensive half, Golemon repels Gladion's attack with its drill, and with Kerberion's offensive half, Golemon attacks ruthlessly with saw blade projectiles, even knocking the Granblade off Gladion in the process.

Back at the Admin Centre, Aoi can only look as Kento and Gladion struggle against Golemon. However, Kouji, Mamoru and Kyouichi arrive to cheer for Kento, now realizing that he wouldn't wrong them. At the same time, the four previously defeated Web Knights fully revive and make their move to support Gladion. Jaguaron picks up the Granblade and throws it back to Gladion. Kento observes that Golemon is vulnerable when in attack mode, so Gladion uses Granmagnum to shoot him down while he's attacking.

With Golemon defeated, both Orthrion and Kerberion's data are recovered. The mist recedes, and the captive children return back to the real world, including the Shinnou twins. Meanwhile, Garyun has a Web Diver of his own and is ready to take on Gladion next.
