Summary
With Hippolyta's soul in their clutches, Circe and Ares head to Olympus to enact their plot against Zeus, with Wonder Woman on their trail to rescue her mother. However, there is another threat looming which may put the fate of both God and Mortal worlds in jeopardy.Tropes
- Bittersweet Ending: Typhon has been defeated and his monster invasion has stopped. However, Zeus' crown is destroyed. Lampshaded with the headline "Olympus Leaderless?"
- "Could Have Avoided This!" Plot: Hera acknowledges that she could've told anyone about Typhon's invasion and prepare for his attack, but she admit that the Gods were stuck in their ways and also that Circe could be an Unwitting Pawn.
- Exact Words: When Hera gives Circe Zeus' crown, she tells her to wear it "as long as she may." Knowing full well that Typhon was bound to invade, targeting the crown specifically.
- Forgiven, but Not Forgotten: While "forgiven" is a bit of a stretch. Even though you successfully helped him restore his rule in the underworld, Hades states that gods have a long memory and that one good deed does not make up for past transgressions.
- If I Can't Have You…: A Non-Romantic example. If Typhon can't have the crown of Zeus, then no one will.
- Reasonable Authority Figure: While Athena does fight against Wonder Woman for the crime of bringing mortals to Olympus, she explains to Zeus that Ares and Circe stealing Hippolyta's soul was the reason why Wonder Woman and her allies came to Olympus in the first place.
