- Friend-or-Idol Decision: Roger the Bridge Troll is in conflict over whether to return Craig's hat or to keep it for his mud man Creeky.
- Idiot Ball: Craig tries to compensate for his winter gear by eating spicy snacks. They barely work. Contrary to toon physics, spicy foods don't actually generate heat, they just make heat receptor nerves temporarily hyper sensitive.
- Noodle Incident: Mortimor doesn't like J.P., for some reason.
- J.P.: Wait, what!?
- Visual Pun: When Craig is admitting to his mom that she was right, Nicole tells him to speak up because she can't hear him over the "hot tea" in her hands.
