After Numbuh Five wanders into an eerie haunted doghouse, strange things start to happen. Namely, the KND’s homework begins to mysteriously disappear! Obviously it must be the work of Valerie and the other Weredog honor students! But maybe Numbuh Five and that haunted doghouse have more to do with it than her friends think?

Date of Mission: August 24, 2007

Now loading tropes:

  • Calvinball: The "Cinderblock Game" the KND is playing at the beginning, a weird baseball-tennis mix involving actual cinder blocks.
  • Fighting Your Friend: Numbuh Four is forced to fight Numbuh Five after she is turned into a weredog.
Numbuh Four: Sorry about this, Numbuh Five, but then again you did steal my homework! (attacks her with the bad homework)
  • Freudian Slip: A running gag throughout the episode is that Numbuh 4 knows how to invoke this with Ms. Thompson to get straightforward answers, even when she "probably shouldn't have said that". And all he has to do is frame the question with an eager tone. Doubles as a Chekhov's Gun when Numbuh 4 later uses this to get information from a Weredog Ms. Thompson on how to cure Numbuh 5.
  • No Good Deed Goes Unpunished: Numbuh Five offers to recover the team's cinderblock since Numbuhs 2 and 4 are too scared to do it themselves. Because of this, she's turned into a Weredog and forced to steal her friends' homework because of it.
  • No-Holds-Barred Beatdown: Judging by the condition she's in when she's thrown out of the doghouse, Numbuh 5 was brutally mauled when the Weredogs ate her friends' homework.
  • Noodle Incident: After the Weredog curse is lifted, the next scene shows Ms. Thompson giving this lesson.
Ms. Thompson: And that, Class, is why you should never accept a necklace from your angry ex-husband.
  • An Offer You Can't Refuse: Ms. Thompson offers to keep Numbuh 5 from transforming if she steals her teammates' homework.
  • Resist the Beast: Numbuh 5 manages to regain enough of her humanity to avoid attacking Numbuh 4 and help him fend off Ms. Thompson.
  • Saying Too Much: Ms. Thompson has a tendency to do this, especially whenever it comes to answering Numbuh 4’s questions regardless of the situation. He uses it to his advantage by asking her how to break the Weredog curse.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: When Numbuh 4 tracks his homework to the haunted doghouse, he decides that he's never turning his homework in. That is, until Numbuh 5 gets tossed out after getting mauled by Weredogs.
  • Sequel Episode: To “Operation: H.O.U.N.D.”.
  • Stealth Insult: Strongly implied. The fact Ms. Thompson's resentful ex-husband tricked her into accepting a cursed necklace that turns her into a Weredog certainly speaks volumes of his personal opinion about her.
  • Ungrateful Bastard: Numbuh Four still gets a triple F minus on his homework even after freeing Ms. Thompson from the Weredog curse.
  • Werewolves Are Dogs: Numbuh 5 became one, due to getting ambushed when getting the cinderblock back for the team's game.
