With the Grand Alliance safe on Horai Island and the Decepticons stuck at the bottom of the ocean, both sides plan their next moves against each other.
- Adapted Out: Since it barely factored into the anime, Xingke's disease flat out does not exist in this story, making him Abled in the Adaptation.
- Breather Episode: There's no conflict in this chapter, just the two sides planning out their next moves.
- Brick Joke: After the failure at the Ashford School Festival, the Ashford gang gets to make the world's biggest pizza, much to C.C.'s delight.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Like how he appeared in Akito the Exiled, the titular character is shown carving through Euro-Britannian forces like a Thanksgiving turkey.
- Divide and Conquer: Well, "divide and recruit" to be more accurate, but with the Autobot-Black Knight Alliance having dealt a crippling blow to the Decepticons, it's an ideal time for both sides to reach out to the remaining Earth superpowers. As Sky-Byte puts it, it's a race to acquire allies to their respective causes.
- Family of Choice: How Optimus hopes the alliance will become. Unlike in R1, their numbers now encompass multiple nationalities and even former foes, yet six months of plotting their return and their recent return to the battlefield has made them Fire-Forged Friends, though the Autobot leader believes they'll eventually become something more.
- Get a Room!: Tamaki quips this when Rai and Shirley start getting flirty.
- Pride: This is why the High Eunuchs are dragging their heels on allying with the Decepticons - they want to be treated as equals, not subordinates. That, and Lelouch Geassed Gao Hai to slow the talks down.
- So Proud of You: Optimus expresses his pride in how far Lelouch has come since the beginning of the story.
- Took a Level in Idealism: Lelouch lampshades the fact that this has happened to him, going from someone who never believed the world could change to someone now leading a massive force to do just that.
- Wing Ding Eyes: C.C. has stars in her eyes when she finally gets to have a slice of the world's largest pizza.
