The Lyoko Warriors return to the jungle lab, and Odd has a bet with Ulrich about not being a braggart.
This episode contains examples of:
- The Bet: Odd is subject to one (going 24 hours without bragging) with Ulrich.
- Big Damn Heroes: Odd. In this episode he is able to defeat William in the Replika, and once in the laboratory he can destroy all of the cybernetic spiders, blow up the backup generator that powers the supercomputer, and by doing that, he saves Ulrich and Yumi's lives. And he can achieve all of this by himself.
- Destruction Equals Off-Switch: Ulrich destroying the door panel to open the door doesn't open said door. This requires Jérémie to find an alternate way of getting into the lab. Ulrich asks Jérémie if he can destroy the power generator, and Jérémie has to think over the ramifications for a moment, but does give the all-clear. However, the backup generator turns everything back on and they must destroy that too, which Odd does.
- How We Got Here: This episode starts with Yumi and Ulrich fighting the cybernetic spiders in the jungle laboratory, and then the episode goes back a few hours and shows us how the heroes got there.
- Idiot Ball: Jérémie decides to teleport Yumi and Ulrich to the jungle to destroy the supercomputer when Odd and Aelita already know the facilities, Aelita can use her technopath power to open the door, and almost managed to destroy the supercomputer themselves in the previous episode. When Odd points this out, Jérémie simply says that he "gotta give everyone a chance to have fun", but in the long run it becomes problematic, because Ulrich and Yumi end up being defeated by the cybernetic spiders, and Jérémie is forced to teleport Odd anyway.
- Immediate Sequel: A bit longer than most examples, but the events of the previous episode only happened a few days before this one.
- Small Name, Big Ego: Odd's cockiness isn't new to anyone, but in this episode this trope is discussed and defied when Ulrich makes a bet that Odd isn't capable of spend 24 hours without bragging.
