As Sabrina longs for a piece of her past, vengeful visitors return to Greendale. The Fright Club competes in a life-or-death battle of the bands.

- The Returned, an Eldritch Terror, brings back several deceased individuals — among them Zelda's dog familiar, Edward Spellman, Doctor Cerberus's mother, Dorcas, Elspeth, and Lilith's son.
- A death metal band called Satanic Panic was approached by Satan, who offered them fame in exchange for a virgin sacrifice. They happily did so, and Harvey's father — who had been a new member — told the murdered girl's father, who burned them alive. Thanks to the Returned, they're able to stroll out of Hell seeking revenge on Mr. Kinkle. Lucifer is delighted by this and not only refuses to take them back but MCs their battle of the bands.
- Battle of the Bands: Lucifer MCs a battle of the bands between the Fright Club (Harvey, Theo, Roz and Robin) and Satanic Panic, which Sabrina crashes with Prudence and Nick as a third band called the Dark Mothers.
- God in Human Form: Mambo Marie LaFleur is revealed to be the Guédé loa Baron Samedi in disguise. When she reveals this, Zelda feels betrayed and breaks up with her.
- Idiot Ball: Sabrina was warned not to agitate the Returned or inform them they're dead... and proceeds to do exactly that to her father.
- My Beloved Smother: Doctor Cerberus's mother is revealed to have murdered her son's previous girlfriends.
- Revenge: Dorcas remembers she was killed by Agatha (who was cursed with madness at the time) and attempts to do the same to her, but is stopped by Prudence.
- So Proud of You: Mister Kinkle finally tells Harvey that he's proud of him after Harvey and his friends save him from Satanic Panic.
