He gets called in to work and the case keeps getting more complicated, keeping him there. They end up sharing a cupcake from a vending machine on another floor for some privacy. In the next episode, it is revealed that Stella had stopped by his place to drop off his gift, but no other mention of his birthday is ever made.
  • A Birthday, Not a Break: Mac gets called to a case while on a date on his birthday and before the night is over, he and Peyton get in a big fight at work over a misunderstanding with a colleague.
  • Cake Toppers: The head of a bride from a wedding cake topper is found lodged in the playboy's throat.
  • Fanservice: The housekeepers are shown wearing skimpy French maid outfits while vacuuming, etc.
