Lemmy begins making excuses to take time off of work and go on dates with Eddie, much to the concern and irritation of his siblings.
Tropes:
- Accidental Misnaming: Junior calls Eddie "Teddy". Eddie corrects him, but it turns out Junior actually wanted to correctly get his name so he could tell everyone about him and Lemmy.
- Comically Missing the Point: Plenty of these from Morton:
- After the topic of Lemmy's absence from the cabinet is solved, Bowser moves on to the topic of the inflation of the economy. Morton think he's talking about DeviantArt, which has a reputation of containing a concerning amount of fetish art.
- Morton has this reaction yet again when Lemmy has to confess that Bowser Jr. saw him and Eddie kissing:Lemmy: Junior saw me kissing Eddie!
Travis: Eddie Knightley?
Wendy: Lauren's brother? Oh my God, he's gay too?
Morton: Eddie's Lauren's brother?! - When Iggy mentions that Eddie being gay was obvious because of how he follows a lot of male models on Instagoomba among other things, Morton asks if Eddie is following them to a secret models club.Roy: If that was the case why ain't I invited?
- Continuity Nod: Larry mentions how he and Wendy have to clean up the throne room, as a party took place there while they were on vacation in the Marine Kingdom. Said party was thrown by Kamek, King Boo and Boom Boom.
- Don't Tell Mama: Ludwig gets fed up with Lemmy constantly skipping work, and states that he is going to tell Bowser about him being gay in retaliation. The other Koopalings think he's going too far since they are not sure how Bowser is going to react and Morton threatens Ludwig if he outs Lemmy to Bowser. Ludwig backs down, but reassures Lemmy that he will take action if he skips work again.
- Drives Like Crazy: Eddie on his motorcycle, as Lemmy finds out. For added extra points, Eddie doesn't seem to know what a motorcylce helmet is either.
- Inexplicably Identical Individuals: Lampshaded by Eddie in regards to the Chargin' Chucks, who all use the exact same sprite:Chargin' Chuck: Don't you know who I am?!
Eddie: Not really, you footballers all look the same. - Hypocritical Humor: Lemmy thanks Eddie for defending him from the Chargin' Chucks and says it was a sweet gesture, to which Eddie calls him a "wuss". Just at that moment, Kawasaki comes with a Cherry Blossom Milkshake for Eddie, which he happily drinks, which causes Lemmy to look at him with Dreary Half-Lidded Eyes.
- It Amused Me: In typical Bowser Jr. fashion, he doesn't have a reason to reveal Eddie's sexuality to the whole Valley and humilliate both him and Lemmy. He's just doing it to be an asshole.
- Jerk Jock: The Chargin' Chucks, as per usual. They try to force Lemmy to give up his seat at Goomburger and almost break his phone. Thankfully, Eddie comes to his rescue.
- Kick the Dog: Both Ludwig and Bowser Jr. do this. Frustrated after Lemmy skips work, Ludwig threatens to out Lemmy to Bowser. He does back off thanks to Morton but he still warns Lemmy that action will be taken if Lemmy skips work again. Bowser Jr. meanwhile is more than happy to out Eddie and Lemmy just to humiliate them.
- Not Me This Time: In order to prevent Bowser Jr. from exposing him, Eddie vandalizes Kalin and Myles' cars and pins the blame on Junior so they can help him beat him up. Junior is understandibly confused when Camilla's brothers accuse him of vandalizing their cars.
- Oh, Crap!: Lemmy and Eddie when Junior walks into them kissing and states his intention to tell everyone to humilliate them both.
- Politically Incorrect Villain: Bowser Jr. sees Lemmy and Eddie kissing, so he expresses his intention of telling everyone about it to humilliate both of them. Though it's clear Junior is doing it more to be an asshole rather than out of homophobia.
- Secret-Keeper: Lemmy is forced to tell Travis and his siblings (save for Ludwig who is absent) about his relationshp with Eddie in order to prevent him from beating up Bowser Jr. They promise to keep the secret. Junior also promises to keep the secret so that Eddie and Camilla's brothers don't beat him up alongside a trip to DisneyWorld
- Slipping into Stink: When coming across Camilla's brothers in the middle of the night, Eddie, afraid of being seen together with Lemmy, throws him away, causing him to land in a dumpster.
- Super Gullible: Lemmy manages to convince Bowser that he was out late the previous night because he was busy working on something special for his birthday. Bowser believes it, despite he himself saying that his birthday is two months away.
- Suspiciously Specific Denial: Eddie lets out of plenty of these about his sexuality:Eddie: I thought I told you before, I'm not gay!
Lemmy: What did you just kiss me for your health?
Eddie: I'm not gay! I just... liked how your lips felt against mine! - Talk to the Fist: One of the Charging' Chucks tries to intimiate Eddie when he defends Lemmy from them by sarcastically asking him if he's his boyfriend and laughing, which causes Eddie to headbutt him while he's talking and scare the three of them into retreat.
- Unstoppable Rage: Bowser Jr. expresses his intention to reveal Eddie's sexuality to everyone in the Valley for no reason other than to humilliate both him and Lemmy. In turn, Eddie vandalizes Kalin and Myles' cars and pins the blame on Junior in order to get them to help him beat him up. The three of them end up chasing Junior back to the castle and constantly knock on the gate with blunt weapons.
- Villains Want Mercy: Junior has to beg the Koopalings to save him from Eddie, Kalin and Myles. In exchange for his silence regarding Eddie and Lemmy (and a trip to DisneyWorld), Kamek places a spell on Lemmy to turn him into Bowser and scare Kalin and Myles into retreating and calming down Eddie.
- Would Hurt a Child: Eddie attempts to beat up Junior for trying to expose his sexuality to the whole Valley. He also gets Camilla's brothers to help him by vandalizing their cars and pinning the blame on Junior.
