Sharon: Macro Glaze! The double glazin' experts that make your house a home! (Beat) Macra Glaze. The thievin' toerags that pay peanuts to unskilled Wally's like me. Win a million pounds and a date with Gazza, if you answer one simple question. Why am I doin' this?
Sharon Theodopolopodous complaining about having to shill for Macro Glaze.

  • Date First Aired: 14/09/1991

Sharon is attempting to sell double glazing at the shopping centre when she meets up with Dave, with whom she had an affair and whose baby she had aborted. However, it transpires that Dave already has a wife who is in fact eight months pregnant, which makes Sharon angry and causes her to break up the relationship. Meanwhile, Dorien agonises over what to wear to her nephew's bris, and Tracey finds herself beginning to miss family life.

Tropes In This Episode:

    • Sharon tells Tracey and Dorien that she's seeing Dave again and that he's been installing phones in a new office block. Tracey asks her if that's wise, referring to Sharon and Dave's history, but Sharon thinks she's talking about the phones and asks why that would be a bad thing.
    • Garth tells Tracey he went 'round Jason's, so Tracey tries to correct his grammar and says "I went 'round Jason's house". Garth doesn't realise what she's doing and tells her she didn't because he would've seen her otherwise.
  • Deadpan Snarker:
    • Tracey after Dorien asks her why she's making a shepherd's pie instead of just buying one.
Tracey: Because Dorien, before Marks & Spencer's was invented, people used to use these rooms, kitchens, they're called, to cook food.
