The mascot bots lure Fred into a trap with a claim that he won a contest, then use a robot duplicate of him to find Big Hero 6's secret base.
Tropes:
- Aesop Amnesia: Fred once again opens a suspicious email. This is later lampshaded.
- Bait-and-Switch: When Wasabi and Honey Lemon burst into "Fred's" bedroom after receiving his text reading "Help! [instead of "halp"] Human emergency!", Fred believes that they'll see through Noodle Fred's facade. But Wasabi gives him kudos for working on his spelling.
- Call-Back:
- Fred quotes himself from "Lie Detector", but he stops when remembering the Lithuanian fact is a fib.
- He also shares his mother's maiden name, like in "Internabout".
- Contrived Coincidence: Baymax just happens to be down for repairs, the only one who has the programming to instantly recognize that Robot Fred is an imposter.
- No-Sell: The Mascots and Robot Fred all punch El Fuego, but he stops them all with one hand.
- Not Himself: Everyone notes that Fred is acting stranger than usual and conclude that it's actually an imposter. However, they don't quite grasp what's really happening until the real Fred appears.
- Paper-Thin Disguise: The place where the bots send Fred is an obvious cardboard façade of an office building placed over an abandoned warehouse, and the receptionist is a standee taped to General Suction. Fred, of course, falls for it all.
- Robot Me: The mascot bots replace Fred with a robot version of himself, with Noodle Burger Boy's chip in him, to try and infiltrate the Big Hero 6 base. Presumably, they also made robots of the other members, but Fred was the only one to answer their e-mail.
- Too Dumb to Live: Not only does Fred answer the suspicious e-mail about a contest that he never entered, but once he gets to the location, he gladly gives the bots all the sensitive information he has, including the password he uses for everything.
- Villainous Rescue: Big Hero 6 is baffled when the mascot bots help Fred fight El Fuego, not realizing they are actually saving Noodle Burger Boy in Robot Fred's body.
