After an attack from Victor Valadis, and coupled with some unsettling dreams, the gang turns to Elena for help, but she might just be the source of their problems..
This episode is set firmly after Ben 10: Alien Swarm, officially setting the movie in cartoon continuity.

- The End... Or Is It?: Despite Elena's attempt to sacrifice herself to destroy the nanochips attacking everyone, the ending shows the nanochips are still alive after all...
- Ethnic Menial Labor: The Janitor has a clearly non-American accent.
- Expy: Whike the resemblance was kind of there before, the clones of Victor Valadis look just like Doc Ock.
- Killed Off for Real: Victor Valadis apparently, between the events of the movie and this episode.
- Only Known by Their Nickname: The Janitor doesn’t get a name, beyond Kevin dubbing him “Igor”.
- Red Herring: The Janitor is assumed to be involved in the return of the chips by Kevin, but ultimately did nothing more than move Elena’s equipment.
- The Reveal: The queen of the nanochips from Ben 10: Alien Swarm is revealed to have been a decoy created by the real queen, Elena.
- Right for the Wrong Reasons: Kevin thinks the Janitor knows something about the case, because he was Taught by Television that this kind of guy was suspicious and also because he was wearing a toupée. Gwen calls him out on this, but it turns out that that the Janitor does know something that points them in the right direction. See Wham Line below.
- Sequel Episode: To Ben 10: Alien Swarm.
- Shout-Out: When Kevin claims to have learnt about detective work from watching TV, Gwen begs him to say it didn’t involve a cartoon dog.
- Sudden Name Change: The Validus family becomes the Valadis family here.
- Wham Line: When Kevin is interrogating the Janitor and Gwen tries to get him to apologize, the Janitor tells them something that reveals who is culprit behind the attacks.Janitor: I do know nothing. All I do is clean up Victor's Lab, and then help crazy daughter move equipment.
Gwen: Wait a minute, why do you think Elena is crazy?
