The Predacons kidnap Una to help them complete a cannon capable of destroying the Maximals, and Rattrap teams up with Depth Charge to rescue her.

- Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny!: Una, but this comes in handy in the end.
- Breather Episode: This is a rather lighthearted episode that's isolated from the current story-arc. Starting with the next episode, the show starts building up to the series finale with major revelations and plot turns.
- Butt-Monkey: Lampshaded. Waspinator reporting that Una is injuring him prompts Megatron to simply say, "Ah, situation normal then."
- Chekhov's Classroom: Cheetor's lecture about levers comes in very handy for Una, who uses makeshift levers to outsmart the Predacons throughout the episode.
- Death Ray: The Predacons spend the episode building one. Megatron notes it wouldn't be powerful enough to breach the shields protecting the Ark, but it can easily take out the Maximal Base.
- Dope Slap: In the final scene, Depth Charge does this to Rattrap with his tail.
- Evil Gloating:Megatron: My disruptor ray is complete! Triumph is before me!
Rattrap: [popping up with a gun] And the rat is behind ya! - Foil: Played for laughs. Megatron's strained and frustrated attempt to get Una to do what he wants is a stark contrast to Cheetor's relaxed teaching methods.
- Head Desk: After trying his hardest to get Una to install the shielding on his disruptor cannon, Megatron simply gives up and bangs his head against his desk once she starts using her wrench to hammer in the bolts.
- Inevitable Waterfall: Rattrap and Una fall over one while riding on Depth Charge through a river.
- New Powers as the Plot Demands: Averted as a joke. Rattrap is quite unhappy about it after the ray disables Depth Charge in mid-flight.Rattrap: Well, at least switch to glide mode or somethin'.
Depth Charge: I don't have a glide mode, mouse. - Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Megatron doubted any of the early humans would be smart enough to follow instruction, until Tarantulas pointed him to the class Cheetor was teaching.
- Oh, Crap!:
- Rattrap when Dinobot II moves in to defend Megatron.
- Dinobot II when Inferno and Waspinator are about to crash into him.
- Parting-from-Consciousness Words: Waspinator reports to Megatron after Una has hacked off his hinges:Waspinator deliver fleshy-bot, safe and souunnndd...(promptly falls to pieces)
- Spanner in the Works: Una completely derails Megatron's plot by secretly taking the stabilizer crystal, as she thought it made her look pretty.
- Would Hurt a Child: Megatron ordering Tarantulas to kill Una.
- You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: Megatron orders Tarantulas to dispose of Una once she adds the finishing touches to his cannon.
