Tigatron discovers a strange flying island, which the Predacons soon pursue afterwards.

- Captain Obvious: Rattrap gets a dig in at Dinobot for naming Terrorsaur and Waspinator when Optimus reports back about Tigertron being attacked from the air, since their literally the only Predacon's who could have done so.
- Big "WHAT?!": Cheetor's reaction to Tigatron saying the island's weapons can easily destroy the Maximal Base.
- Cliffhanger: The message Tigatron sends the Maximals sets this up.
- Death Trap: After a specific symbol lights up, Tigatron is nearly done in by surprise boulders.
- Drama-Preserving Handicap: Airazor is injured after she finds the island with Tigatron, and as a result she cannot simply fly off and alert the other Maximals to the danger, or reach the center of the island before the Predacons.

- Rhinox says recent scans suggest the bigger moon might be hollow, and he appears doubtful that it's just an instrument error. He's right.

- Jump Scare: Tigatron spotted the cyber-bee flying around the island. He ducked behind a rock and waited to pop out to bring it down.
- "Not So Different" Remark: After Rhinox observes that it's not Tigatron's style to completely slag an opponent, Dinobot calls the guy a fool. Rattrap admits he agrees when it comes to Predacons, especially certain Predacons.
- Oh, Crap!: Sending out his cyber-bee, Scorponok activates the visual POV and gets a Jump Scare surprise when Tigatron suddenly ambushes it.
- Race Against the Clock: Megatron is uninterested in figuring out who built the island on the grounds that they have to secure the area before Tigatron does.
- The Starscream: Not Terrorsaur, but Blackarachnia plans to exploit the island for herself.
