Wanting to avoid one of Bruce's "billionaire playboy" events, Tim takes his friends into the Batcave to watch a movie rather than using the manor's media room. Batman is not amused.

- "Could Have Avoided This!" Plot: After being forced into cleaning up and appearing at the dinner party, Tim mutters that he wishes he and his friends had just gone to the Kents' instead.
- Mundane Utility: Tim uses the Bat-Computer so he, Wonder Girl, Superboy, and Kid Flash can watch a movie. They get caught by Bruce, who demands why they're using such high-tech equipment for a mundane purpose.
- Puppy-Dog Eyes: Bart gives Tim big eyes and a pleading pose while begging him to agree.
- Noodle Incident: Whatever the Riddler's latest scheme was goes unexplained; Tim only says that he took over the movie theaters and they're still closed down as a result.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Upon being confronted by an angry Bruce Wayne, Connor, Bart, and Cassie book it at super speed, leaving Tim to take the heat for the whole thing.
- Simple Solution Won't Work: Twice. When Bart suggests watching a movie at the theaters, Tim answers that the theaters are still closed down after Riddler's latest scheme. Then Connor brings up that Bruce has a huge home entertainment system in the mansion, but Tim insists they can't go back there; he doesn't want to be forced into participating in the dinner party his adoptive father is holding at the moment.
- Super-Speed: While trying to convince Tim to watch a movie at Wayne Manor, Connor mentions that all of them are extremely fast, so they probably wouldn't get caught. Later, Bart makes a run to the kitchen for snacks over Tim's objections, disappearing and reappearing in moments. Finally, when Bruce demands an explanation, Tim's friends disappear in a flash, leaving Tim at the mercy of Bruce's lecture.
- This Is Gonna Suck: Tim knows it's not going to end well when Bruce catches him and his friends in the Batcave, eating snacks and using the Bat-Computer to watch a movie.
- Wretched Hive: Gotham being a horrible place comes up again when Tim tells his friends that the movie theaters are still closed down due to supervillain activity. Cassie questions why anyone would want to live here.
