- Armor-Piercing Question: Damian is visibly on his guard and standoffish to Talia from the moment they meet on the roof. Then she asks him if he's happy in Gotham. He visibly takes a step back, and seems genuinely surprised at the fact that a) she asked that and b) yes, he is happy in Gotham.
- Parents as People: Talia did not give Damian a good upbringing. She seems to know this, and clearly cares about her son, which is why she allows him to live with Bruce, knowing that he can at least give Damian a semi-normal childhood. She even outright asks Damian if he's happy.
