Jon deals with a bar owner whose friends start fights and act like middle schoolers behind the bar.
This work contains examples of:
- Bar Brawl: Church and L Boogie get into a pretty severe one that lasts over a minute. L Boogie naturally gets fired. While L Boogie started it, due to this being a chronic behavior on Church's part, he's banned from the premises.
- Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: The owner, Lee, comes off as sympathetic throughout the episode. Years later, it was revealed he was using his bar as a front for drug smuggling, which comes off as pretty low for a guy who seemed guilty about the financial pressure he had put on his family.
- Downer Ending: The bar not only closed in the long run, but it was later revealed to be a front for drug smuggling.
- Get Out!: After Jon meets Lee post-recon, Lee's first action in taking back control of the bar is to go up to L Boogie and fire him on the spot.
- Sinister Minister: Church is a chaplain who has no problem taking advantage of his friend Lee and causing trouble at his bar.
- With Friends Like These...: Church is a terrible friend to Lee, constantly breaking the rules, causing a ruckus at his bar, and scaring patrons away.
