Just two buddies walking along with some explosive material... nothing can possibly go wrong!
The ISA needs help with transporting a new energy source that explodes if it isn't handled carefully. Genba decides to take a stab at his first delivery job, while Mira follows him out of concern. Things quickly get out of hand with the arrival of the Kurumaju, leading to Genba and Mira trying to figure out how they're going to deliver the ISA's briefcase before it explodes.

Tropes

  • Batman Gambit: The ISA knew the Sanseaters would find out about the package and go after it, so they had it delivered early. Genba's, and unintentionally Mira's, real mission was to act as a decoy.
  • Breather Episode: After two fairly intense episodes, this episode leans heavily on the comedy and is much lighter on world-ending stakes.
  • Didn't Think This Through:
    • Before Koinobori Grumer could fight Genba and Mira when encountering for the same time, the Sanseaters take him from the battlefield to warn him from the briefcase's explosive content. Unfortunately for them, the act allows Genba and Mira to escape with it.
    • Koinbori Grumer himself gets a minor one. He's introduced to Genba and Mira while being carried by a few Nejiretta. When he sends them to fight Genba and Mira, they drop him and cause him to fall.
  • Explosive Stupidity: Subverted; although Genba makes it appear this way given that he threw the freaking briefcase skywards, it later comes out that "The Procurementer" never had the genuine article throughout the entire ordeal, having only been performing as a distraction with a phony package to keep the Three Seaters away from the real cargo.
  • Hair-Trigger Explosive: The delivery of the day. As it turns out though, it was delivered early to avoid the Sanseaters, with the one that Genba's protecting from them being a non-explosive fake.
  • Kansas City Shuffle: Genba is tasked with delivering an energy source that if damaged will explode, which means he has to be extra careful about it. It turns out, however, that the package he has is a decoy, with the ISA making use of the Boonboomgers' public identity to draw away the Sanseaters' attention while they transported the real energy source offscreen.
  • Lampshade Hanging: Yalcar urging the trio to get back to collecting Gyahsoline and reminds them to create a Kurumaju, Dekotrade notes that he’s on point today.
  • Locked Out of the Loop: Mira is once again kept in the dark about the team's plan in order to make sure that Sanseaters are convinced about the package's contents.
  • Mass "Oh, Crap!": The Sanseaters have this reaction when the Koinobori Grumer goes off to attack while uninformed about the content of Genba's briefcase being a highly volatile explosive. They get a bigger one when Genba intentionally throws the thing in the air.
  • Out of Focus: Taiya, Ishiro, and Jou are kept away from the main plot due to helping out at a local preschool.
  • Rewatch Bonus: Genba doesn't seem too terrified of tossing a briefcase with the explosive. After learning that he's carrying a decoy, it makes more sense.
  • Running Gag: Itarsha snags a Kashiwa Mochi for herself every time she gets the chance to do that.
  • Serious Business: Jou takes cleaning a local preschool as if he was off to protect the world from aliens as Bun Black.
  • Significant Reference Date: The episode aired on May 5, 2024, which is Children's Day in Japan. The episode is thus replete with references to it, such as the Kurumaju being based on koinobori, Mira helping out at a kashiwa mochi stand, and Taiya, Ishiro, and Jou helping out with cleaning a local preschool.
  • Two Lines, No Waiting: The A plot concerns Genba being tasked to carry an important package on behalf of the ISA as Mira joins him mid-mission, while the B plot consists of a couple scenes of Taiya, Ishiro and Jou helping out at a local preschool.
  • Unspoken Plan Guarantee: The fact that Genba carries around a decoy briefcase is kept a secret up until the climax, which ensures that the misdirection works up until that moment.
