Asura encounters an old friend.
"It has been a while, traitor..."
Wyzen

Episode

After a somewhat lengthy trek, Asura makes his way to the village that the Golden Spider spoke of. There, he encounters a small tribe of humans desperately praying to a broken Mantra collector. Suddenly, red lightning fills the sky, signifying an oncoming swarm of Gohma, prompting the civilians to rush to safety, with Asura in tow. However, their gates aren't enough; the Gohma start pouring in and begin massacring the entire tribe. As Asura removes the robes concealing his body, he has a revelation:

"Twelve-thousand years and NOTHING HAS CHANGED!!"

Asura starts making work of the invading Gohma. However, a beautiful glow radiates from the sky and Shinkoku soldiers start dropping in. Apparently, Asura's return quickly made news. Asura starts fighting off both Gohma and demigod.

Up above, a large Septentrion ship overshadows the village, this is the Merak, captained by former Guardian General Wyzen. On his command, the Shinkoku forces begin the process of "purifying" the village, which involves reducing it to rubble via a missle strike, killing anyone inside. Amdist the chaos, Asura is beset upon by more Shinkoku forces before the battle is interrupted by a Gohma Crusher, who begins absorbing the souls of the dead villagers. However, the Gohma is suddenly slain by Wyzen, who descends from his ship to take down Asura personally.

Declaring himself one of the "Seven Deities", Wyzen seems disappointed at the fact that Asura doesn't appear to remember him. He begins explaining the new purpose of the Seven Deities, a purpose that Asura couldn't even begin to understand-

>Shut Wyzen up

Asura, already having enough of Wyzen's attitude, firmly affixes his fist to his face and the two once again clash. Much like the last time, Asura promptly and literally wipes the floor with Wyzen before tossing him off the side of a nearby cliff. However, this time, Wyzen has one more trick up his sleeve...

In a flash of light, Wyzen transforms and grows into a gigantic, stone version of himself dubbed Vajra Wyzen. Wyzen gloats about how much stronger the Seven Deities have got since Asura's death via the use of his daughter Mithra. Slowly, Asura's memories start coming back to him once again, and so does his rage. Demanding answers, Asura prepares to throw down with Wyzen once more.

Interlude

In Shinto, the remaining Deities argue over the return of Asura and what it could mean for their plans. Deus assures them that compared to what they are now, Asura couldn't even compare to them. However, Augus claims otherwise, stating that nothing is impossible when it comes to battle.
