Asura starts making work of the invading Gohma. However, a beautiful glow radiates from the sky and Shinkoku soldiers start dropping in. Apparently, Asura's return quickly made news. Asura starts fighting off both Gohma and demigod.
Up above, a large Septentrion ship overshadows the village, this is the Merak, captained by former Guardian General Wyzen. On his command, the Shinkoku forces begin the process of "purifying" the village, which involves reducing it to rubble via a missle strike, killing anyone inside. Amdist the chaos, Asura is beset upon by more Shinkoku forces before the battle is interrupted by a Gohma Crusher, who begins absorbing the souls of the dead villagers.
