Recap / Asura's Wrath E15.5 "Defiance"

Go To

After his revelation with Asura, Yasha confronts Deus about his new solution.

Tropes:

  • Animation Bump: Much like Episode 11.5, the entire episode is a pre-rendered animated segment with quick time events that — if missed — deduct from Yasha's HP.
  • Dare to Be Badass: Insulted by the insinuation that he has not considered any alternatives to the Great Rebirth, Deus tells Yasha if he is so certain that he can save the world with his own power, than he better prove it against him. Since the position of leadership isn't something that is given to a push over, beating Deus would certainly prove Yasha's point to him.
  • The Fundamentalist: Olga proclaims that anyone who deters from Deus' "absolute" plan, even if it's proposing an alternative solution, is guilty of treason and thus must be put to death.
  • No-Sell: When Deus decides to let Yasha have One Free Hit, Yasha channels as much mantra is he could into a single punch in Deus's face... and it does nothing. Deus doesn't even blink as the force reduces the palace into a dust-cloud, but leaves Deus completely unharmed.
    Deus: ...Is that all?
