is the tenth chapter of Anything for Family.
The Masked Shadow attacks the Twinkling Flowers.
Tropes:
- Call-Back: Joker having a spark of good in his heart from the events of Twinkling in the Dark is referenced, as the narration mentions that if it wasn't there, he wouldn't have reacted to Cure Bloom's sympathy so graciously.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: Joker's eyes glow red when the Masked Shadow sends him into a particularly harsh rage.
- Sympathy for the Devil: Cure Bloom takes pity on Joker after seeing him cry over the Masked Shadow putting Maimiko in danger. Ironically, despite the chapter's title, it has nothing to do with the trope
