Kennex and Dorian are faced with an intense hostage situation. Captain Maldonado is hoping to protect the hostages by meeting with the terrorists' demands.

- Glad I Thought of It: John 'shares' the credit for Dorian coming up with an idea that may give them a drop on the bad guys.John: See? Told you we'd come up with a plan.
- Hostage Situation: Standard "exceptionally dangerous group using the heist as a cover for what they really want."
- Latex Perfection: Sci-fi variant: The criminals use high tech image projectors to mask their faces as different criminals, so that the police think they're religious terrorists.
- Suddenly Bilingual: Dorian speaking a little Portuguese to calm a woman down on the phone.
- Throwing the Distraction: In a gun battle with one of the baddies, John activates his phone and tosses it, the ringing results in the bad guy shooting in the direction of the sound while John takes him out from the other side.
- Voice Changeling: Dorian imitating John, right down to John's mannerisms, much to his surprise and annoyance.
