When Julien wakes up with no memory of the night before, he finds he has promised his entire kingdom he'll listen to and solve all their problems.
Tropes:
- Create Your Own Villain: Julien's failure to admit he was Banana Guy Mike leads his two most devoted followers to assume Julien killed Banana Guy Mike and they swear vengeance against him.
- Fun with Acronyms: Julien inadvertently starts the Lemur Alliance Liberation Army, or LALA for short.
- G-Rated Drug: Julien is never seen drinking anything, leaving the assumption that he simply became intoxicated off of partying too hard.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Julien poses as a commoner as an attempt to better relate to their problems, but gets too into the role and sparks a rebellion.
- Paper-Thin Disguise: Julien's Substitute King fools everyone, as does his "Banana Guy Mike" disguise, which is just him without his crown carrying a banana (well known to be King Julien's least favorite food) around and speaking with a fake accent. It's certainly better than his previous disguise.
- What Did I Do Last Night?: The episode opens with Julien waking up with a hangover from a wild party the night before.
