Finn's father, Martin the Human, fights for freedom on a new planet.
Tropes:
- Changed My Mind, Kid: Averted. When Martin 2 is being pummeled and calls out to Martin (who is fleeing), he doesn't come back to help him.
- Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: From what little can be seen, Martin is surprisingly agile and good at fighting.
- Martin 2 is very small, very old, the leader of his rebel group, an experienced fighter, and somehow subdued the guards without help.
- A Day in the Limelight: This is the first Martin-focused episode.
- Karma Houdini: Martin sells the rebels' only source of food and abandons them to their fate, and manages to escape unharmed with huge piles of gold coins and treasure.note Martin: Must be the Globs rewarding me for my heroism.
- Lonely at the Top: Martin leaves filthy rich, but after playing with his gold for a while, he lets out a sad sigh.
- Non-Mammal Mammaries: The giant moth somehow gives milk.
- (warning: weird content) The "teats" (actually part of a milking machine) look like this moth's pheromone spreaders. It's a male moth...
- Older Than They Look: Martin 2 is actually pretty elderly, but it's not noticeable until the Gross-Up Close-Up.
- Pet the Dog: Martin thinks the little koala he names "Martin 2"'s ears reminds him of his son "Stupid Hat" and actually does try to distract the guards so Martin 2 can escape ("Look at me! Look at me!"), but ditches Martin 2 after learning he's the one the guards are really after.
- Shout-Out: To Star Wars: The koalas look like Ewoks, they're rebels, and they live on a desolate desert planet ruled by a despot.
- There Is No Kill Like Overkill: The guards threaten to blow up the entire market (in a very small village, right in front of their leader's castle/treasury) if the rebel leader doesn't surrender.
- Weird World, Weird Food: Martin asks for "a big tankard of alien goop" at the bar and has enough experience with alien food to think it's "just okay".
