Det. Amy Santiago about Det. Rosa Diaz, Brooklyn Nine-Nine

"Meanwhile, in the middle of the woe, there is Gabriel Byrne, peering perpetually into the middle distance with the pained absentmindedness of a man with an undiagnosed urinary tract infection."
— The Guardian's review of Secret State

"Cynthia saw Dr Patterson several times, and once an old man who had to have been Dr Bellafonte, but the only future-ghost she saw was herself; her hair longer, greyer, her clothes shabbier, standing beside the exam table with a scowl on her face that could have been used for spot-welding. What frightened Cynthia most — aside from the nauseating, almost electric shock of walking into the medical bay and seeing herself — was the way that scowl had looked as if it had been carved into her face."

"It's all right [Fenris], you know. Even you can be happy once in a while, it won't kill you. But your face might crack if you smile, so be careful."

Episode title: FURROWS
Captain Archer furrows when Trip informs him that the warp reactor is going to explode in ten minutes unless they can obtain some furrolithium. The furrow deepens when Hoshi informs the captain that she can't translate the language of the furrolite commander in charge of the furrolithium factory. Then T'Pol questions the logic of Archer beaming down to a planet full of armed furrolites, armed only with a toothpick. Archer furrows some more, then beams down, kicks everyones ass (with an ever increasing furrow of course) and then returns to his ready room, where he can stare, and furrow, out of the weight-of-the-world window.
