  • Running Gag: Season 3's "Everything Is..." greeting becomes a Mad Libs Catch Phrase with the adjective corresponding to something relevant
  • Show Within a Show: It's mentioned by Michael in the second season intro that the Good Place's most popular podcast is about Jimi Hendrix discussing music with Mozart and the Bad Place's most popular podcast is Josef Stalin recapping The Bachelor.
