  • Subverted: ???
  • Double Subverted: ???
  • Parodied:
    • Alice makes a checklist of the rules she has broken.
    • Alice's disdain for rules is so intense, that she can even defy concepts like 'Newton's Laws of Motion' and the 'Laws of Thermodynamics' by merely stating things like: "I don't abide by your rules!".
  • Zig Zagged: Alice swings from rebellious to obedient.
  • Averted: The desire of breaking the rules or obeying them doesn't totally define Alice's character.
  • Enforced:
    • The author doesn't like the rules herself and creates Alice as a reflection of this.
    • "We need to make a foil to the law-abiding Bob."
  • Lampshaded: "Seems like you're the type of girl who doesn't like the word 'obedience'."
  • Invoked: Cool People Rebel Against Authority
  • Exploited: Reverse Psychology
  • Defied: Alice decides to follow the rules whether she likes it or not.
  • Discussed: "Can anyone get a hold on that rebel?"
  • Conversed: "I wonder what rule Alice will break in the next episode."
  • Deconstructed: Alice is so rebellious to the point that she doesn't care who she harms. Thus, she alienates everyone around her.
  • Reconstructed:
    • Alice is too rebellious to care about what others think.
    • Alice agrees to be rebellious as long as she doesn't hurt people.
