Basic Trope: A character rebels against a rebellious organization.
- Straight: Rebellious Randy rebels against Queen Sophia's La Résistance.
- Exaggerated: Rebellious Randy founds his own La Résistance, and Anarchist Anna Rebels against him.
- Downplayed: Rebellious Randy is often a dissenting voice in the Rebel group and frequently speaks against the leadership.
- Justified: Queen Sophia wants to overthrow Empress Evilyn and to place herself on the throne, and runs her resistance with cruelty and oppression. Rebellious Randy decides she and Evilyn aren't that different and decides to establish a Republic.
- Inverted: Among Evilyn's loyalists, Lawless Lucy is especially loyal.
- Randy rebels against the rebels... by joining the loyalists of Evilyn.
- Subverted: It seemed like Randy wanted to rebel, but it was a ploy to show Sophia that her authoritarian approach wasn't helping her cause.
- Double Subverted: She then ignores this and executes Randy, causing many of her followers to start their own splinter rebellion.
- Parodied: Randy rebels by using Totally Radical slang and listening to punk music.
- Zig-Zagged: Randy seems to be rebelling, but only because he was The Mole, except that was all a ploy to help him start his own organization.
- Averted: Randy is 100% loyal to Sophia.
- Invoked: Sophia recruits Randy because she needs someone willing to argue against her.
- Exploited: Evilyn encourages Randy to divide the rebels.
- Defied: Sophia's closest advisors notice that Randy is making dissident noises and go to talk him out of it. If he doesn't, they say, they will make him stay or silence him to keep him from potentially passing crucial information to Evilyn.
- Deconstructed: Divided We Fall
- Reconstructed: Randy and Sophia agree to focus on defeating Evulz and work out a compromise system of government after the revolution.
