Basic Trope: Exclaiming "No!" multiple times in a row, often very rapidly when faced with something bad.
- Straight: When Alice is about to knock over the Priceless Ming Vase, she starts exclaiming "No no no no no no no no!"
- Exaggerated: This continues until it's an Overly Long Gag.
- Downplayed: Alice says "No!" about 4 or 5 times, with a fair amount of pause in between them.
- Justified: Alice is freaked out and trying to convince herself that it'll be okay.

- Alice repeatedly says "Yes!" when faced with something good.
- Alice opts for just a single Little "No" or Big "NO!" when something bad happens.
- Subverted: Alice has a stutter, and is really just trying to say "notebooks".
