Basic Trope: Someone nearly suffers a Groin Attack, but doesn't. Usually Played for Laughs.
- Straight: An object goes flying and nearly hits Bob in the crotch, but he gets out of the way just in time, causing him to remark that it's a good thing he moved.

- Bob nearly getting hit in the crotch is a Running Gag.
- Bob is nanoseconds from the object hitting him.

- Bob manages to get out of the way of the object hitting him very quickly, but does still remark that it was a fairly close call.
- Bob's crotch guard protected him from a blow below the belt, if he was hit harder it would have failed.
- Justified: Bob could tell that the object would hurt if it hit him in the crotch, and is relieved that it didn't.
- Inverted: Bob somehow suffers a Groin Attack from an object that came out of nowhere.
