Basic trope: A character is too lazy to... I'll work on this later.
- Straight: Bob lounges around in his living room all day, doing absolutely nothing other than eating.
- Exaggerated: Bob is too lazy to even breathe.
- Downplayed: Bob only does the bare minimum in order not to be noticed.
- Justified:
- Bob has an injury, not allowing him to much.
- Bob lacks the motivation to do things.
- Bob is a literal lazy bum: he lives on the streets and sleeps all day and all night.
- Inverted:
- Workaholic
- Bob is incredibly impatient, doing work that Charlie asks his co-workers Alice, Steve and Totally-not Emperor Evulz to do, much to Charlie's dismay.
- Subverted: "Eh... I'm not really in the mood... But I will do it."
- Double Subverted: "...In about 15 minutes. Okay?"
- Parodied: Bob turns into a mop or a house plant whenever anyone talks to him or asks him to do something.
- Zig-zagged: Bob is either productive or lazy depending on his mood and state in life.
- Averted: Bob gets his work done.
- Enforced: "What could be a defining trait for a Loser Protagonist? Let's have him be lazy."
- Lampshaded: "Bob, I want you to be productive for once in your life!" "But I don't wanna...too tired... sleep...*starts snoring*"
- Invoked: ???
- Exploited: Totally-not Emperor Evulz finds out that Bob barely gets his work done, so he does the jobs himself for a better paycheck and ends up getting Bob fired, putting him in jeopardy.
- Defied: Bob decides to avoid laziness and tries to do something.
- Discussed: "Why would anyone want to spend their whole life sleeping?"
- Conversed: "I really hate Bob. He's so lazy, he makes the villains look like saints. At least they're doing something."
- Deconstructed: Bob's laziness gets him ostracized by society, including his friends and family.
- Reconstructed: Bob is too lazy to give a damn what they think of his laziness.
