Trope Description: A sinner's punishment in Hell fits the sin.

  • Straight:
    • Bob, who was a rapist in his life, gets raped by demons in Hell.
    • Alice, a cruel Alpha Bitch, spends her afterlife attending a simulation of her high school where she is naked and constantly bullied.
  • Exaggerated: Bob, who was a serial rapist in his life, is eternally bound to a bed and frequently raped by demons who look exactly like his victims. Other demons grope him all the time without his consent, and in his ears, he always hears the screams of his victims back on Earth.
  • Downplayed:
    • Bob gets raped himself once by a demon, but that is the only rape-specific punishment he ever gets in Hell.
    • Alice is naked in the afterlife, but nobody else notices and treat her like an ordinary student.
  • Justified: In this universe, it is a law in Hell that all condemned souls get their capital sins done to themselves to punish them.
  • Inverted: The devil likes Bob for all the suffering he inflicted in the living world and gives him a palace close to his own, filled with prostitutes who are always available.
  • Subverted:
    • After some time, Bob starts to like having so much sex available all the time.
    • Alice and Carol are in Heaven and are having their weird fetish catered to.
  • Double Subverted: Till it becomes too much even for his seemingly insatiable libido, and he is in fact tormented by it since sex starts to suck.
  • Averted:
    • Bob doesn't die.
    • We do never see what happens to Bob in the afterlife.
  • Implied: Alice, who is touring Hell, asks her demon guide what happened to Bob after getting there. We hear sex sounds and Bob screaming in the background.
  • Enforced: "Bob is such a monster that the viewers need the satisfaction of him punished. Well, if not on Earth, then in the afterlife."
  • Parodied:
    • Bob gets raped for having been a rapist in life...but by a rather beautiful woman who looks like his greatest fantasy, and really seems to like the sex. A double standard is in effect.
    • Jenny, a Shameless Fanservice Girl, is trapped forever in nun robes.
  • Lampshaded: "Well, finally we don't have to fear him any longer...I hope he gets raped himself now. Then he would finally realize what he has done to us all." "Really?"
  • Invoked: The night after Bob's death: The devil appears to Bob's victim Denise in a dream. He tells her that Bob just arrived in Hell and asks her, as one of his victims, for a good punishment for him. Denise advises him to get him raped himself so he will finally get how much he violated his victims.
  • Defied: Demons prepare to rape Bob in retribution for his life, but he manages to escape Hell before.
  • Discussed: Demon 1: "What could we do to him?", Demon 2: "Well, maybe raping him back."
  • Conversed: "Do the writers really think this would be a good punishment for a rapist?"
  • Deconstructed: Bob is raped by demons, yes, but he wants retribution and starts raping them back. And other beings in Hell.
  • Reconstructed: After hearing what Bob is doing, the devil and his demons enforce the exaggerated punishment on him to make sure that Bob doesn't do any further shit.
  • Played for Laughs: An invocation of And There Was Much Rejoicing: Bob gets small and whiny at the sight of his eternal punishment, although the demons are really small and whimpy and mainly joking about his small manhood.
  • Played for Tragedy: The punishment is the first thing that makes Bob ever think about life. But there is no other way than thinking about What Could Have Been left.
  • Played for Horror: The punishment is exaggerated in a torturous and bloody way involving a lot of Splatter.
