    • Alice's leaving of heaven was from through disagreements that resulted in incompatibility but with stances that are still ultimately good - more akin to a young mortal moving out of their parent's house. Even if they don't agree everyone recognizes her as still good.
  • Double Subverted: ...however, then Alice reveals that she was already serving Satan before her fall and that she has used the plan to catch the angelic forces off-guard.
  • Parodied: God has a hatch before His desk to dispose of rebelling angels.
  • Zig-Zagged: The proud angel Alice rebels against Heaven and is cast out. she doesn't fall into evil and keeps fighting the evil forces on her way, so she is allowed to return. However, other angels don't trust her and it moves her to abandon Heaven again, this time bitterly enough to join Satan and his hell armies. Then Alice discovers all was a scheme deviced by Satan to get her to his side, so she help the holy side to defeat him, which earns her a return to Heaven. However, she refuses in order to keep going her own way.

  • Enforced: "This is a work about the fleetingness of one's nature, so we will put a fallen angel".
  • Lampshaded: "Not even angels are beyond temptation".
  • Invoked: Satan corrupts Alice into rebelling against God.
  • Exploited: ...and God secretly is allowing this in order to test Alice's loyalty.

  • Conversed: "You angels need to get some parachutes, don't you?"
  • Deconstructed: Alice falls in love with demon Bob and is cast out from the Heaven when this is found out. Despite the archangels' attempts to proclaim her a criminal, many other angels feel empathy towards Alice and see the punishment as unjust, which makes them rebel as well. This causes a all-out war on the Heaven and throws the forces of good into the chaos.
  • Reconstructed: However, at the end, Alice is forgiven and allowed to return to the holy forces. The former archangels are judged by her tyrannical and extremist actions and are cast out from Heaven.
  • Played For Laughs: Everybody in Heaven, from God to the cherubim, are so incompetent in their works that Alice, the Only Sane Man, decides to voluntarily abandon her role and cast herself out of Heaven.
  • Played For Drama: Alice rebels and falls from grace. She later realizes the wrong of her action and repents, but there is no return to Heaven after falling, so she spends the rest of her existence in a state of melancholy and bitterness.
