Basic Trope: A vampire that can be out in the sun.
- Straight: Valentino is a vampire, yet he can go out in the sun as normal.

- Valentino can go sunbathing on a very sunny day, but won't be harmed at all.
- The sun actually makes Valentino stronger.
- Downplayed:
- Valentino can go out in the sun, but he still has to wear protective clothing, a sun umbrella, a hat, etc in order to not get burned.
- Valentino can still go out in the sun, but is more susceptible to getting sunburnt due to his pale skin tone.
- Valentino can only go out in the sun for short periods of time. Spending too long in the sun will harm him.
- Valentino can go out during the daytime, but only when the UV index is low that day.
- Justified:
- In this work, vampires don't have a weakness to the sun.
- Valentino is powerful enough to not have the sun as his weakness.
- Inverted: Valentino is unusually susceptible to the sun, to the point in which he can even get burned from the moon.
- Subverted: Valentino is seen in the daylight, but it turns out that he's only able to be in the daylight due to having very strong sunblock on.
- Double Subverted: The strong sunblock is just to prevent him from getting sunburnt - he doesn't actually have that bad of a weakness to the sun.
- Parodied: Valentino gives himself the ability to walk in the daylight, for some reason... despite naturally being a shut-in and never having any desire to go out unless it's at night.

- Valentino can go out in the sun, but it's only because he's been used to being a vampire for so long. His friend Victoria, who only recently became a vampire, still can't go out in the sun yet. However, regardless of how long one has been a vampire, it's still important for them to take frequent breaks when in the sun.
- Whether or not Valentino has a weakness to the sun seems to vary.
