- Exaggerated: Alice helps Bob get over his fear of all the roller coasters.
- Downplayed: Alice helps Bob get over his fear of a Wild Mouse.
- Justified: Bob is scared of heights.
- Inverted: The episode is about the Big Dipper getting over its fear of humans.
- Subverted: Alice thinks Bob is scared of Big Dipper, but he's just having a Potty Emergency.
- Double Subverted: Bob is so scared of Big Dipper that they have to stop the ride to get him off.
- Parodied: Bob is afraid of the kiddie coaster.
- Zig-Zagged: Bob is not scared of the Big Dipper and rides it no problem, but he is terrified of the Bigger Dipper.
- Averted: Bob is not afraid of the Big Dipper.
- Deconstructed: Bob's fear of Big Dipper's structural integrity turns out to be well founded as the car derails, sending him to the hospital.
