Basic Trope: A Scottish person is portrayed as brave, and is a physical and/or psychological powerhouse.

  • Straight: Claidheamh mac Kerr, The Big Guy, has direct Scottish roots, and is usually the first to go out, even when he (along with the rest of his friends) are scared pale.
  • Exaggerated:
  • Downplayed: Claidheamh is a bit of a Cowardly Lion, but he will still fight if it means he and his friends are safe.
  • Justified:
    • Claidheamh is a Proud Warrior Race Guy.
    • It's inherent within Claidheamh to be brave.
    • Claidheamh's rough upbringing taught him to be brave in the face of adversity.
  • Inverted:
    • Claidheamh is a Dirty Coward.
    • Sir Robert, who's completely Anglo-Saxon, is a Dirty Coward.
