- Straight: Bob's superhero name is "Grass Man". Whenever he announces his alias to others, they start laughing.

- Bob's superhero name is "Sperm Man". Everyone, including him, finds it hilarious. (What's really not helping is the fact that his costume indicates this was clearly deliberate.)
- All of the superheroes have embarrassing names.
- Downplayed: Bob's superhero name is "Cat Man". Not terribly embarrassing, but he feels that something like "Lion Man" would've been what he was going for.
- Justified:
- Bob had no say in the decision of his superhero name.
- The person who came up with his superhero name had no idea of the potential connotations (or they did, and they're messing with Bob).
- Bob intentionally chose a silly name like "Grass Man" to catch his enemies off guard.
- Super Gay Man started during or before the 60s.
- Bob's attempt at an alias ran afoul of "Blind Idiot" Translation as he mixed up the similar sounding Tropestani nouns for 'frost' and 'stiffy'
- Inverted:
- Bob's superhero name is wonderful.
- Grass Man's alias isn't too bad, but his real name is.

- Subverted: Bob asks, "What kind of a name is Grass Man?", but stops complaining after learning how cool it is to have the ability to control plants.
